How Marijuana is Made
Marijuana is made from the Marijuana Sativa plant, which is capable of growing in a wide range of climates. Recently, it has become very popular to grow marijuana hydroponically, in indoor grow rooms. Though the plant produces THC naturally, many of today’s strains have been genetically engineered and cultivated to maximize THC content.
The highest concentration of THC is found in the bud of the plant. Once mature, these buds are harvested, dried, and packed for transportation. Once it reaches the street level dealer, the buds are commonly shredded. The loose marijuana is then packaged for small quantity sale.
