Ever wish you could thank or congratulate someone publicly? We can help. Give your local superheroes a little public recognition courtesy of MpoweredParent. From 8 year old soccer champs, to 80 year old volunteers, tell us about your hometown heroes. We’ll post their story and picture right here for the world to see.

We’re just as happy to showcase a 5th grade honor student, as we are to showcase an amazing military mom. From baby’s first steps, to Johnny’s first job, send us your family oriented accomplishments, and let them inspire others. Once we publish it, it will be listed on our website under the Hometown Heroes section. You’ll get an email letting you know that the page is ready.

We’ll also give you the tools you need to instantly and effortless email, facebook, and tweet your story to your heart’s content. Show it to your hero as a private pat on the back, or let the world know its there. It’s the fun and easy way to give someone special their fifteen minutes of fame. Your story should be no more than 500 words, and we must reserve the right to edit it where necessary. Please include a color photo of the person whom you are nominating, and provide a phone number where you can be reached. We regret that nominations will not be considered, unless they are accompanied by a photo. If there is an important date by which you would like the story to appear, please be sure to mention it in your email.
